Meet Suzanne Higbie-Long, MA
Hello! My name is Suzanne Higbie-Long and as a counselor with
Peace Within: Counseling for Women, I serve women of all ages
in their journey to navigate their busy lives, process internal and external expectations while helping to amplify self-empowerment and self-love. My clients want to thrive in their interpersonal relationships while learning to love and fully accept themselves. My wide range of life and professional experiences provide a warm and compassionate foundation--allowing space for my clients to heal, grow, and achieve their full potential.
My first career as a teacher informs my empathic and authentic approach to counseling. I focus on the unique ways we learn and experience life, while providing you a safe space to sift through behaviors and feelings that may be holding you back. I specialize in adoption, single parenting, professionals in helping fields and multicultural families. Social justice and human rights are primary focuses, as well.
