My approach to counseling borrows from principles found within dialectical behavioral therapy, feminist theory and multicultural therapy. It’s my belief that this framework allows clients to take back control in areas where they may have felt powerless and aids in reaching goals that have otherwise felt unattainable.

 

My approach to counseling reflects my belief that we desire authenticity in our lives and that sometimes the first step in that is naming the challenges and approaching them directly.

I insist on serving and focusing on a small number of clients at any given time. This assures that each client will receive attentive care, thoughtful treatment planning, and first-rate service during the entire time she chooses to work with me.

      For clients who would like to come to Peace Within and are not able to pay the full fees, a limited number of sliding scale           appointments are happily offered.
