Meet Charise Hayman, MA, NCC
Hello. My name is Charise Hayman. As a counselor at Peace Within: Counseling for Women, I offer the benefit of an eclectic academic and professional background and a passion for helping others meet the challenges of life with a sense of empowerment and purpose.
My goal is to provide a compassionate space where clients identify their needs, maximize their strengths, and change negative patterns of thinking and behaving. My approach as a therapist is grounded in the principles of mindfulness-based cognitive behavioral therapy and an eclectic range of evidenced-based clinical practices tailored to client needs and preferences.
My counseling experience includes work with clients of all ages in a traditional office environment and in various community settings, including schools, a medical practice, and a hospital.
